About Dr. Faulk

Dr. Richard Faulk is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in Psychiatry.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Wheaton College with a major in philosophy. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, where he was awarded the distinction of membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Faulk completed his residency training in psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then went on to complete an additional residency in child and adolescent psychiatry, also at the University of North Carolina.

Dr. Faulk opened his private practice in South Florida in 1998 and treats children, adolescents and adults.

He stays abreast of the latest advances in psychiatry by completing numerous continuing medical education activities and with memberships in the American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Florida Psychiatric Society, and Broward County Medical Association.
